The government officially launched servizz.org yesterday, a project that will bring to a community level services that had previously been offered only at specific departments or ministries.

The service will be operating at three hubs, located within the local councils of Paola and Birkirkara and the LEAP centre in Qawra.

“We wanted to simplify things so more could have access to services at a community level,” Parliamentary Secretary Michael Falzon said at the launch at the Paola local council.

Those with questions which would usually be tackled at government departments or ministries may now visit one of the hubs where each case would either be immediately tackled at the hub or referred to the department in question.

A freephone, 153, has also been set up where the public can ask for information.

Alternatively, those requiring assistance could also call 2200 1309 or send an e-mail on centruservizz@gov.mt.
