72-year old woman suffered grievous injuries when she was hit by a van on her way to Church in Triq San Ġwann tal-Għargħar, San Ġwann.

The incident happened at around 7.45am, when the elderly woman was crossing the street.

She was rushed to Mater Dei Hospital by ambulance.
