The Mobile Monday Malta chapter is holding a seminar about local mobile entrepreneurship and its link to the mobile industry on Monday November 30.

The event will focus on exposing four local start-ups/projects to an international scene. The participants shall be receiving valuable advice regarding the commercialisation of their venture/project from the international speaker and our expert panel.

"This is a fantastic opportunity for start-ups to gain exposure for their work as well as business advice," a Mobile Monday Malta Chapter spokesman said. "Due to time constraints, we can only present four projects/start-ups during the event. If you have a project (University of Malta, MCAST, private/ foreign university or any other academic institution) or a start-up idea, you can apply."

Applications for the event are being received at: http://ow.ly/sYJs .

The keynote address will be delivered by Peter Vesterbacka, co-founder and the original initiator of Mobile Monday. He is also founder of Some Bazaar, a new approach to building and growing new businesses. Prior to this he worked for HP in several communications industry related roles. While at HP he founded the HP Mobile E-Services Bazaar, a global innovation & corporate partnership programme that BoozAllenHamilton declared an industry benchmark.

The panel will consist of international consultant Malcolm Ross, international consultant Alex Grech, Dr Saviour Zammit and representatives from the three local mobile operators.
