I refer to Alfred Gauci’s letter entitled ‘Silly security rules’ (The Sunday Times of Malta, May 20).

APS Bank would like to clarify that its safety and security procedures require visiting customers to remove any headgear and sunglasses upon entering its facilities. The reasons for such reasonable requirements should be quite obvious.

While acknowledging that this might cause inconvenience, APS Bank would like to thank its customers for their understanding and cooperation.
