Andrew Chetcuti continued to shine in the pool as the Maltese swimmer won a silver medal in the 50m freestyle race at the Iceland GSSE this evening.

Chetcuti, who has now taken his medal tally to two silvers and one bronze, swam the race in 23.28 seconds, a new national record.

Matthew Galea clocked a personal best 24.20 seconds but he narrowly missed out on a podium finish after placing fourth overall.
