The Christian Democratic Students (SDM) have won the election for the students' council of the Junior College, with all of the group's candidates being elected.

The SDM block vote won 930 votes to 847 for Pulse. There were 230 mixed votes.

The successful candidates were Simon Forster (who will be president), Stephanie Bonnici (social policy commissioner), Mauro Karl Sultana (secretary general), Ritianne Caruana (finance officer), Jake Scerri (public relations), Kendra Farrugia (education commissioner) and Matthew Farrugia (culture and entertainment officer).

Turnout was 83.7%.

Students celebrated late at night outside the college, with some of them lighting flares.
