'School Psychology for Diversity' is the theme of the 31st Conference of the International School Psychology Association (ISPA) that will be held at the Dolmen Resort Hotel, Bugibba, between Tuesday and Saturday.

Robert Sternberg from the US, renowned worldwide for his research on intelligence, will be presenting his recent model on successful intelligence, namely Wisdom, Intelligence, Creativity, Synthesised (WICS).

Other international speakers will present papers on issues such as developing inclusive schools, providing psychological and interdisciplinary co-ordinated support services, training support staff, developing an equitable assessment system, preparing for and implementing intervention in school crisis situations, and dealing with gender issues and bullying situations.

The conference includes the annual meeting of the Network of European Psychologists in the Education System (NEPES) who are holding a round table on 'European policies supporting diversity in the classroom'.
