San Anton School is holding a Christmas market on Sunday from 10.30 a.m. to 5 p.m. at its premises at L-Imselliet, Mġarr.

Visitors will find a variety of Christmas gifts, ranging from traditional decorations, gift-wrapping, home accessories, giftware, wooden toys, pottery, books, costume jewellery, and natural toiletries, to hand-crafted jewellery, hand-made cards, home-made jam and preserves, and many other original gifts and stocking fillers.

This year there will be a food section with Marks and Spencer Christmas treats, Sicilian artisan delicacies, a spice stall and Thorntons chocolates, and a craft section where various craftsmen will ply their trade. Popular food writer Concita Demicoli will be baking traditional festive sweets, and holding cooking demonstrations.

Mulled wine , cocoa and traditional imbuljuta will also be served.

For children there will be various entertainment activities, including a live crib in the school grounds.
