Over 4,000 people donned Christmas themed outfits, mostly Santa suits, for the 9th edition of the Do it for Charity Santa Run, London’s largest Santa run.

The run is open to all those who raise £100 for their favourite charity and pay a £25 registration fee – in return for which they get a Santa costume, although the organisers stress that Elves, Reindeer, Snowmen, Christmas Bunnies and Presents are all welcome. The run covers either a 5km or 10km route.

In 2016, over £1 million was raised.
