Saga Travel Group and Island Hotels Group Holdings plc have extended their relationship at the Coastline Hotel in Salina Bay for a further three years.

The agreement comes after two “successful years” of operation, the hotels group said.

It will see Saga Travel Group maintain its commitment for using the hotel until October 2013, throughout the shoulder and winter months between September and June.

The Coastline Hotel has, over the last two years, earned an exceptional reputation among Saga’s guests who have rated it among the top of all the properties which Saga Holiday’s features.

The hotel has one of the highest repeat guest and referral ratings within the international Saga programme and the level of service delivered to Saga guests over the past two years was instrumental in the extension of this agreement.

The Coastline’s general manager Malcolm Buhagiar said the team had made every effort to develop the product and service levels to the very highest standards, ensuring that guests remained at the centre of business strategies.

“The extension of this contract for a further three years is testament to the effort of every member of the team and we are committed to further develop and strengthen our efforts through our commitment to deliver hospitality with genuine passion to every one of our guests,” he said.

Group chief executive, Winston J. Zahra, said the agreement was another important step for the hotels group following its initial public offering last year.

“The successful relationship with Saga Travel Group and the extension of our relationship with them up to October 2013 ensures that the immediate years ahead will be very positive for the Coastline Hotel,” he said. “The results are a testament to the team’s efforts and we are all looking forward to making our relationship with the Saga Travel Group even stronger in the years ahead”.
