Fancy a free trip to Pisa, Trapani or both destinations?
If so, you had better dash to your computer and book one of Ryanair's million free flights before tonight's midnight deadline.
The Irish low-cost airline has gone political and embarked on its Yes to Europe Campaign by issuing one million free tickets to 500 European destinations for travel in October and November. Maltese travellers only have the two destinations to choose from.
The idea is to remind all passengers that the EU paved the way for Ryanair to develop low fares, freeing Irish passengers from the state-owned high fares monopoly, an airline spokesman said.
In June last year, Irish voters threw the EU into disarray when they rejected the ratification of the Lisbon Treaty. On October 2, Ireland will be holding a second referendum on the EU's key treaty that could end the stalemate over final ratification.
The Yes to Europe free seats include all taxes and charges and can be booked until midnight on www.ryanair.com.
