Those who attended the event at Dingli over the weekend can confirm the immense enthusiasm shared by organisers and participants alike. There were signs of satisfaction on everyone's face. The setting was out of this world, with a touch of life in a typical Maltese rural village.

Maltese families have had enough of being confined to their homes because of the very hard winter, so no doubt the welcome feeling brought on by the spring air contributed to attracting the crowds.

I went along more out of curiosity than anything else but I have vowed to attend, with all the family, the monthly events to be held from now on in different villages all over Malta. The atmosphere is too good to ignore. Such events take a lot of organising so one cannot end without thanking the organisers for making such a success of them. Besides all the preparatory work that has to be done, these people are sacrificing their Sundays off for the benefit of the Maltese producers and consumers. I feel that I should publicly thank them and assure them that their efforts are not going unnoticed.
