Rue D'Argens in Msida is to reopen for traffic on Sunday at noon, the Transport Authority said.

The busy road was closed on January 9 for what was meant to be an 11-week project to replace pipes and resurface a 33-metre stretch from its lower end to the junction with Sant'Antnin Street.

Its closure caused motorists to fume as they used alternatiev routes through Ta'Xbiex seafront and Abate Rigord Street, which were made two way.
