It seems that Kevin Spiteri does not live in the real world. Apart from his utterly discourteous comments about the Queen and her visit to Malta, he should by now have realised that roads which were never meant to take the huge amount of modern traffic, invariably get congested by such events. This does not only apply to Malta. He should see what happens to London when some dignitary arrives in state. Come on Mr Spiteri, stop whingeing about an event which so enhanced Malta's image and tourist trade.

Since the Queen's visit, I have met numerous people who have now been encouraged to visit the Island where Her Majesty spent the early part of her marriage. The BBC gave wide coverage to the visit. This could only have been an enormous boost to Malta's primary source of income. If people like Mr Spiteri cannot do any better, they should keep their mouth shut. It will portray a far better image of our dear country.
