Ronaldinho believes Barcelona striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic would be a perfect addition to Milan's squad.

The Rossoneri come up against Barca tonight as the teams contest the Joan Gamper Trophy - and the occasion is expected to facilitate behind-the-scenes talks about a potential move for the Sweden international.

Asked about the possibility of forming a striking trio with Ibrahimovic and Alexandre Pato, Ronaldinho told El Mundo Deportivo: "I do not know about that but I'd love to play with one of the best strikers in the world.

"It would be a perfect signing for Milan."

Tonight's match will be a special occasion for Ronaldinho as he lines up against his former club.

"Emotions will be strong," said the 30-year-old. "I've received over 300 messages from friends in Barcelona.

"I had some unforgettable moments that made me happy - I'm really lucky to have had many special moments in Barcelona."
