Roma coach Claudio Ranieri has not given up hope of winning the Scudetto tomorrow even though they are long shots to pip Inter to the title.

The Giallorossi, who are two points behind Serie A leaders Inter with one game to play, not only need to beat Chievo in Verona, but also hope for a favour from Siena.

However, already-relegated Siena have nothing to play for except their pride when they take on Inter in Tuscany.

Anything but an Inter win would favour Roma as if they finish level on points, the title will head to the Italian capital as Ranieri's side hold a better head-to-head record.

"The fact the title will be decided in the last game of the season says a lot about how competitive Roma are," said Ranieri.

"We reopened the Scudetto race and it wasn't easy considering that at one point in the campaign we were 14 points behind Inter.

"Now we are two points behind them with everything to play for.

"We face a stratospheric rival in the Scudetto race but we have played an almost perfect campaign and we will battle until the end."

Under Ranieri, who replaced Luciano Spalletti earlier this season, the Giallorossi went unbeaten in 23 matches to reach the Serie A summit last month for the first time since 2007.

Their 2-1 win over city rivals Lazio which allowed the Romans to leapfrog Inter into first place, fuelled hopes of a first title since 2001 but their stay at the top was shortlived.

Ranieri's team lost to Sampdoria on April 25 and Inter capitalised.

"I hope my tears after the game against Sampdoria will be turned into smiles come Sunday," said Roma defender Philippe Mexes. "We must win at Chievo and hope Siena hold Inter."

Chievo go into tomorrow's match at the Stadio Bentegodi with little to play for but will be looking to improve on their 13th position in the table.

Many had tipped Domenico Di Carlo's side for relegation after their poor start to the year, but they proved their critics wrong and guaranteed their top-flight status with a month to spare.

Having made life difficult for Inter Milan before falling 4-3 last weekend, Chievo have warned Roma they will not hand them any favours.

"We will simply do what we did against Inter," said Di Carlo. "We will give our best and fight until the last second to get a positive result."

Roma have won their last four games on the road while Chievo have come out triumphant just once in their last five games in Verona.

Ranieri will have all of his players available, with the exception of suspended defender John Arne Riise and injured goalkeeper Alexander Doni.

Chievo defender Mario Yepes will return to play his last game with the Flying Donkeys.

Yepes, who missed last weekend's clash through injury, is set to be AC Milan's first signing this summer.
