Road plans for the junctions linking Regional Road with Paceville and Pembroke will need to be modified to handle an increase in traffic if a massive development project application in St George’s Bay is approved.

Garnet Investments Limited has filed a development application to demolish all existing buildings forming part of St George’s Bay Hotel and ancillary facilities, as well as Dolphin House, Moynihan House and Cresta Quay in St Julian’s.

The application submitted by Anton Camilleri, a council member of the Malta Developers Association, proposes the construction of a complex of buildings designed for a mix of residential and tourism facilities, as well as educational and commercial buildings.
