A handheld concrete vibrator is being recalled because it poses a high risk of electrical shock.

The apparatus, model ZN35, does not carry a brand name, comes in a box bearing the word Vibrator and does not conform with European directives.

The Malta Standards Authority is asking companies who stock it to return it to its supplier. Consumers should also refrain from using it and take it back to the shop they bought it from.

Should the piece of equipment be found during an inspection, it will be confiscated.
