I refer to the letters by Franco Farrugia (April 14), Emily Darmanin Kelly (April 17) and, in particular, the letter by Jean Galea (April 20).

I too have been paying for Go's 8 Mbps ADSL internet connection, only to achieve about 3 Mbps! I also briefly upgraded my connection to 12 Mbps and the result was a meagre speed of about 3-4 Mbps!

After much hassle with Go, which led to the changing of the internet cable from my PC to the telephone point outside our residence, I ended up with the same speed I was "enjoying" previously.

If Go cannot maintain a certain level of service as advertised, it would be appreciated if they could, at least, inform their clients accordingly: The present situation is basically a rip-off! It would also be wise for Go to get their basic services right before embarking on new projects.
