One hopes that when the new Arriva buses come into service, the old D bus route will be re-established.

This was a round trip from Valletta to Sliema and back, every half-hour, during the busy hours of the day. The smaller buses that are supposed to be on our routes will do nicely.

As it is, except for the four buses throughout the day on weekdays, kindly supplied by the local council, we have no transport going from the Ferries area towards uphill places in Sliema, and the police station/post office centre.

With every public parking place in Sliema being occupied during the day, Sliema residents are unable to use their cars for fear of being unable to find a parking space on their return.

I know that many residents would welcome this bus service, and let us hope some of them will come forward to support my request.
