Six residents of Triq il-Hali, Zebbug and the Zebbug mayor and administrative secretary this morning filed an official letter in court to Joseph and Alfred Manduca, the Infrastructure Minister and Transport Malta.

The residents are claiming that the Manducas’ had blocked or allowed the blockage of weeper holes from which rainwater used to pass in a boundary wall which the Manducas' property at Triq il-Madonna had with Triq il-Hali.

This, the residents said, was causing flooding at Triq Hali and in properties in this road.

The residents said that the minister and TM had a responsibility to ensure that this did not happen.

They asked for the Manducas to unblock the holes within a week and for the minister and the authority to ensure the water did not damage their property.

The residents said they were holding the Manducas, the minister and the authority responsible for any possible damages.
