A joint venture between Rentastore International and the Salvo Grima Group was launched yesterday offering the first fully dedicated document and record management storage facility in Malta.

For the last 10 years Rentastore International has provided this unique service in Ireland and Spain, winning the confidence and trust of leading commercial and public organisations.

Rentastore Malta offers its clients the possibility to free up part of their precious office space currently dedicated to document storage and archiving, consequently making it more possible to cut down on costs while retaining peace of mind.

William Bodenham, chairman of Rentastore International said yesterday during the opening of the facility in Marsa: “We are delighted to be associated with Salvo Grima for this initiative and look forward to providing high levels of world class service in the record management industry.”

He added: “From the second our clients give us their documents to the second they get them back the documents will be stored securely and managed professionally in our acentrally located and specialised premises.”

Mr Bodenham said that Rentastore’s service within the record management industry is unique because it provides a fully inclusive “one stop shop” for the complete custodial chain, which includes secure and confidential document collection, tamperproof archive boxes, a computerised bar-coded tracking system, same day data retrieval and delivery and a secure shredding service.

The Malta document storage facility is run by full-time staff who have been professionally trained and security cleared. The same day inclusive retrieval and delivery service ensures full confidentiality of their customers’ documents and records yet are only a phone call away.

Robert Aquilina, chairman and CEO of Salvo Grima Group said: “Our association with Rentastore International is one of many links in our ever-developing chain of global cooperation resulting in job creation in Malta. We are particularly pleased to be associated with a company that not only offers a quality competitive service but also provides a solution for indigenous companies that wish to release valuable office space to reduce costs”.

Mr Aquilina said that in these tough financial and commercial times he is happy to have attracted a company to Malta that provides a cost effective solution to document and record management to help clients significantly reduce day to day overheads.

Yesterday’s official opening was also attended by Finance Minister Tonio Fenech.
