Work on the removal of the Magic Kiosk in St Anne Square, Sliema, resumed this morning after having been interrupted by court proceedings.

The kiosk is being removed by employees of the Lands Department and the Works Division.

The work started on January 9 when two leases on the land expired, but the process was interrupted twice following requests for warrants of prohibitory injunction made by the operators of the kiosk. Both were turned down.

Last week, the First Hall of the Civil Court appointed a court expert to oversee the removal of the movable items..
