Caritas has called on the Government to remember, when planning next year’s Budget, that vulnerable people and families in society should be given equal opportunities and the necessary financial and environmental assistance to reach a decent stand of living.

In a statement it said it believed that to stimulate everyone’s common and personal development, the weak should be assisted.

Employment, it said, was everyone’s right and duty. More efforts should be made for an increase in jobs with a fair pay and for workers not to feel discriminated.
