The Red Tower in Mellieha came to life today with the reenactment of a typical military camp of the late 18th century by members of the Historical Reenactment Group Malta militia and Maltese light infantry.

Soldiers are rolling cartridges, cleaning their muskets and taking part in drill and skirmishes in the surrounding areas.

All the equipment, arms and weapons being used are authentic.
