Mark Webber is anticipating another potentially tricky weekend as Red Bull look to end their points drought around Valencia.
Following the heady high of their one-two around Monaco last month, the past two grands prix since have hardly gone to plan for Webber and team-mate Sebastian Vettel.
Their on-track collision in Turkey was followed by a tough time in Canada as they finished fourth and fifth, almost 40 seconds adrift of winner and new championship leader Lewis Hamilton, of McLaren.
Ahead of Sunday's European GP around the port circuit of Valencia, Webber now finds himself in third place in the standings six points adrift, with Vettel 19 points down.
"Looking to Valencia, it's another venue that might not be that easy for us," said Webber.
"But we surprised ourselves in Canada where we were a little more competitive than we thought we would be. It was a tight group as we finished behind the main teams, McLaren and Ferrari, but I still think in Valencia we have a good chance to get good results.
"I wouldn't pick it as a venue where we're going to go and get an easy victory because I don't think the layout of the circuit is one that suits us so much.
"But it's part of the championship, we have to compete on all the tracks, and that's how it is."
