Last summer’s issue of Treasures of Malta has sold for €280, an absolute record for a recent magazine in Malta.
The Summer 2015 issue, released in August, was a special one dedicated exclusively to the 450th anniversary of the Great Siege of Malta of 1565.
It included new research and material relevant to this important event in the history of Malta. Within a few weeks, the issue sold out immediately, notwithstanding the normal runs printed. It recently sold at the Obelisk auction house for €280.
Treasures of Malta is published by Fondazzjoni Patrimonju Malti three times a year, namely in Easter, Summer and Christmas. Retailing at €10.50 per copy, this upmarket publication has been in circulation for over 20 years.
