Labour leader Alfred Sant insisted this evening that the Prime Minister was not saying the truth when he denied that the Cabinet had discussed the possible introduction of fees for healthcare.

Speaking during brief stops at the three cities and Kalkara, Dr Sant also repeatedly attacked Nationalist MP Jeffrey Pullicino Orlando and revealed a receipt showing that Dr Pullicino Orlando had been informed by registered letter from Mepa that an application for development on his land had been submitted.

Dr Sant called on people not to let anyone provoke them, saying that the PN was desperate, adding that maybe this was because the MLP was uncovering corruption.

Dr Sant also accused the PBS of being controlled “by them”, probably referring to the Nationalist Party.

He repeatedly told supporters not to boo those who did not agree with them.
