Vodafone Malta Limited said its customers were the first mobile phone users in Malta to be able to download real music as ringtones.

The new service, available on Vodafone live!, gives customers the opportunity to download Real Tones from Musiwave, which offers music under the following headings: New Entries, Top Downloads, RnB, Hip Hop, Pop, Rock, Dance Floor, Oldies, Soundtracks and TV.

"Vodafone live! customers can now benefit from another unique service. Not only can customers now use Real Tones as their ringtones but they can do this at a cost of just 75 cents per download. This is the same price as Poly Tones and Sound FX downloads. Once again, Vodafone is improving the quality of its products and services without any further cost for our customers," said Heathcliff Farrugia, consumer segment marketing executive at Vodafone Malta Limited.

Vodafone live! customers who choose to make use of this new service during the current week will find, among others, the following tracks included in the New Entries offered by Musiwave; Fix You by Coldplay, Feel Good Inc by Gorillaz, The Importance Of Being Idle by Oasis, Feels Just Like It Should by Jamiroquai, I Think I'm In Love With You by Jessica Simpson and Rough Justice by The Rolling Stones.
