Two types of medicines, Simvastatin and Enalapril, are both commonly prescribed to the elderly. Simvastatin are cholesterol-lowering pills while Enalapril are to control high blood pressure and are both prescribed in 10 or 20 milligrams.
These two medicines are packed in exactly the same boxes, the name being the only distinction. It is not difficult to imagine what might happen to an illiterate or someone with poor eyesight who needs to have a dose from one or the other in an emergency.
Can the authorities look into this problem and mark one or the other with a visible distinction?
