Reaching Out, the newly-formed Philanthropic association set up to raise funds for the children of Ethiopia, Kenya and Brazil, is organising a fair for all the family at Spinola Bay next Sunday.
"We have tried to cater for the needs of as broad a range of people as possible. There will be fun and games for the children, but we have not ignored their parents...," Keith Marshall, the group's co-ordinator, said.
"We will set up stalls with various forms of cuisine, including a few traditional Maltese dishes. All this will be backed up by an array of items being sold at huge bargains including household goods, clothes, sunglasses, books, trinkets, costume jewellery and ceramics."
All the money collected will go towards the construction of a water harvesting system that is needed in Bonga, a village Keith visited in Ethiopia recently.
