Sliema swimmers, rejoice.

Qui-Si-Sana has been re-opened after a sewage outflow had forced the Environmental Health Directorate to close the beach to bathers temporarily.

In a statement, the Directorate said that multiple water quality tests had been taken to ensure that the area was safe to swim in.

For more information about sea water quality, contact the Directorate on 2133 7333 between 8am and 2.30pm (2182 7146 out of office hours), email mhi@gov.mt or find the directorate on Facebook.

The public can also visit the Directorate's offices at Continental Business Centre, Old Railway Track, Santa Venera or call 7950 9918 for Malta-related queries or 7950 9919 for Gozo ones.
