Gozo shadow minister Chris Said complained in Parliament this evening that the Gozo minister and the government were not replying to questions on whether the promised cruise liner terminal and yacht marina would be built in Gozo and what stage the project had reached.

Dr Said asked about the cruise terminal in a supplementary question after a question about the number of cruise passengers who arrived in Gozo.

Gozo Minister Anton Refalo was not in the House to reply, and Justice Minister Owen Bonnici said he had no information and the question should be put in writing.

Dr Said said he had repeatedly asked the question and repeatedly been told to ‘ask the responsible ministry’ without any ministry giving details.

Earlier this week Dr Said also complained about no information having been given in parliamentary questions on who was being given passes to use the Gozo ferries and what the policy for the granting of such passes now is.
