Almost every day my quiet, tranquil home is blown away by extremely loud neighbours. Not a day goes by that we don't hear them yelling, fighting and hitting the children and their pets. For the grand finale we hear slamming doors, bellowing filthy language, threats, etc.

Morning, afternoon and evening, indeed all hours of the day or night, you are sure to hear some kind of disturbance.

They plug up the drains with food, throw cigarettes and other items. They are loud and yelling as I type this letter.

Very irritating, but what can I do? Nothing, unless I want to leave my very nice home because of a few ignorant people.

The letter writer who had his holiday ruined in Malta is unfortunate, but you have ignorant, loud, disrespectful people no matter where you go in the world. I suggest he thinks of the bright side: at least he gets to go home. I am home and I have to put up with this every day.
