I would like to applaud the recent public consultation initiative taken by the Parliamentary Secretary for Dialogue Chris Said. The meeting I attended was marked by discussions that went beyond the narrow-minded personal issues that often bog down such meetings, not least due to the good moderating that took place. These activities are crucial if government wants to keep acting in the best interest of the people; how else can the grassroots be heard?
