A problem is being faced by Mcast students who have applied for IT courses. I have applied for the National Diploma myself. Having no idea whether I have been accepted or not has a great impact on my future since this year is one of the most important years of my life, as it will form the base for my career.
I can understand that this course is very popular, but what I don't understand is why some of the students have already started their course while others have no idea whether they can study in this institute.
Another issue is the way the students who have already started their studies have been chosen. At the meetings, the speakers pointed out that the higher the grades and level of studies a student has, the higher the possibility of being accepted for this course. In my opinion this statement has not been followed, since I know both students who have higher and others who have lower levels of education than me and in both cases, they have already started the course.
At this point, all the students who are still waiting for the answer to whether they have been accepted or not are all asking the same questions: Will I be accepted? If not...what can I do? All the other institutes have closed their applications. And if I am accepted, will I keep up with the other students since they have already started their syllabus?
I would like to demand a clear answer about the points mentioned above.
It is useless to hear that Mcast is trying to satisfy all the students because if this will not succeed, some students will have to spend a year out of school since all the institutes have now started their lectures. Time is going by and every day that passes is a lost day.
