Workers from the Restoration Unit of the Resources Ministry in the coming days will remove paint which vandals threw on the Chapel of Mary Magdalene at Dingli Cliffs.

The ministry said its officials had analysed the paint and decided to wait until it had dried completely before removing it, thus ensuring that no harm was done to the façade of the chapel.

The ministry condemned the vandal attack, committed on Monday-Tuesday night, It recalled that the chapel was restored in 2003.

It appealed to anyone having any information on the vandalism to come forward.
