A promotional project for Gozo was launched today by Tourism Minister Edward Zammit Lewis.

The €227,000 project ‘Promotion of Gozo as a distinct destination’ will be managed by the Gozo Tourism Association, with the help of EU funds.

Its aim is to increase Gozo’s visibility as a tourism destination through a study that will evaluate the current situation and build a marketing plan of action covering a three-year period.

An international advertising campaign will be organised over a three-year period and an international conference on tourism in Gozo will be held.
