A television producer has called on a rival production house to stop using games in their shows similar to the ones in his.

This was David Charles Bajada’s second judicial protest about the issue.

In his protest, against Evelyn Saliba La Rosa, Adrian Saliba, Michael Vella Haber, as owners of Rewind Productions, the Public Broadcasting Services who are due to air the show and the Broadcasting Authority, Mr Bajada argued that The Wedding Battle, made by Rewind Productions, used similar games to his show entitled Accordo, Għalik u Għal Darek.

The two game shows are due to be aired on different channels. In both shows, couples compete to win a fully expenses paid wedding.

In his first protest, Mr Bajada claimed that Rewind Productions had stolen his idea, a claim Ms Saliba La Rosa, Mr Saliba and Dr Vella Haber categorically denied.
