I refer to the item Mental Health Law Changes "A Must" (October 10), wherein Doris Gauci, CEO of the Richmond Foundation, is reported to have said a lot of things about my office and the draft Mental Health Act.
One would be forgiven for thinking that Ms Gauci verified her facts with my office before speaking so categorically.
She never did. She might have learnt something about the legislative drafting process and what "stuck at the Attorney General's Office" actually means.
Possibly that is exactly why she did not.
