On March 15, 2011 there were 606 persons held at the Corradino Correctional Facility, Home Affairs Minister Carm Mifsud Bonnici told Parliament in reply to a question by Michael Falzon (PL).

The 606 inmates included 558 men and 48 women, of whom 398 men and 25 women were serving sentences. Of the rest, 160 men and 23 women were being held in preventive custody.
