The following are the top stories in the Maltese newspapers today.

Times of Malta reports how a senior Lands Department official has resigned in the wake of the Auditor-General's report in the Gaffarena expropriation case. More resignations are expected.

It also reports that the police have no confidence in new breathalyser kits. 

The Malta Independent reports that 'there have been no further developments' between the bank and former Parliamentary Secretary Michael Falzon.

In-Nazzjon reports how the Nationalist Party said yesterday that the prime minister's actions in the wake of the report by the Auditor General were too little, too late.

l-orizzont says the prime minister has instituted court proceedings to revoke the deal with Mark Gaffarena. It also gives prominence to the swearing in of Parliamentary Secretary Deborah Schembri.
