Times of Malta says the 27-year-old man who lost his life at the Palumbo shipyard
yesterday is believed to have died instantly when he was struck on the head by a large piece of machinery which came loose during works. In another story, it says investigators probing the explosion of a bomb placed inside Martin Cachia’s car last Saturday are looking into the possibility of a link with an arson attempt on a St
Paul’s Bay residence late last year.

L-Orizzont says a Maltese judge has decided that a judgement given by a British court for a Libyan company in Malta to give around $15 million to another company is executed.

The Malta Independent says the Public Accounts Committee yesterday adjourned sine die on the oil procurement case until the constitutional cases initiated by a few of the witnesses is over.

In-Nazzjon also leads with the death of an Italian worker on a Libyan ship at Palumbo shipyards.
