The following are the top stories in the Maltese newspapers.

Times of Malta reports that new property regulations will only set agents’ minimum commission rates and estate agencies will remain free to increase rates as long as these are stated in writing.

The newspaper also says that all the members of former home affairs minister Manuel Mallia’s private secretariat have been retained on the government payroll,
albeit in different roles.
