President Eddie Fenech Adami this morning addressed the Maltese community in Victoria, Melbourne, recalling his first visit to Australia 32 years ago.

In this State Visit, which is his last before his term as President expires, President Fenech Adami is accompanied by Mrs Fenech Adami and deputy prime minister Tonio Borg.

The President said that the Maltese community has contributed to the welfare of Australia, kept their Maltese identity and many of them made a success for themselves and the education of their children, who could also acquire their dual citizenship.
