Joseph F.X. Zahra, chairman of the National Euro Changeover Committee, will address NCW members, affiliated organisations and friends on the euro adoption strategy on Friday at 6 p.m. at the NCW Centre.

A sense of spring
An outing to Dr Adrian's Garden Centre, Nigret, which includes a lecture titled 'The easy way to grow herbs', followed by lunch at Peristyle Restaurant, is being held on Saturday, May 13, at 9.30 a.m.

There will be enough time to go round the garden centre and buy plants/flowers. The lecture starts at 11 a.m. Price: Lm4, including lunch and transport.

Mother's Day visit
On the occasion of Mother's Day, members of the Social Issues Committee will be paying a visit to the mothers residing at Dar Merhba Bik, Dar Qalb ta' Gesù and Dar Teresa Spinelli on May 10.

The purpose of the visit is to express solidarity with these mothers. NCW members are welcome to donate gifts.

The Education and Culture Committee is hosting a story-telling evening for parents and children up to the age of seven at the NCW Centre on Friday, May 26, at 6 p.m. Lm1 per adult, including refreshments.
