Players are practising their routines for the Slam Dunk Competition while others are fine-tuning their sights for the Three-Point Shooting Event.

The three referees who will officiate the All Star Game are discussing the mechanics they will use since this is the first time NBA rules will be used in Malta.

The Basketball Pavilion at Ta' Qali is being dressed up for the occasion and someone, somewhere, is delicately integrating a diamond worth Lm500 into a beautiful pendant to be won by a lucky spectator on Sunday.

Gaba Diamonds have offered this wonderful pendant as a prize in the Diamond Shot Competition which will be held during half-time of the All Star Game that will close the afternoon's activities.

The event begins at 2.30 p.m. with the Three-Point Shooting Event. One may obtain more details by phoning 21-416733, 9942-5824.
