Football fans will be happy to hear Go has secured exclusive broadcasting rights for England's Barclays Premier League for three consecutive seasons, providing live television, internet and mobile coverage.

Company CEO David Kay said: "Go is glad to have acquired exclusively the Premier League broadcasting rights, which will be beneficial to our viewers and our business."

The news comes as Go, one of the leading quad-play communications providers, yesterday announced Christmas offers that include discounts for Home Pack customers, new television channels, free laptops and mobiles.

A new set-top box, Go Box+, has been launched providing viewers with live television under full control - the ability to pause and catch up with live programmes at the touch of a button to keep up with the action. Customers can also record without the need for timers, tapes or discs, by simply pressing the record button on the box.

Meanwhile new customers connecting to the company's prepaid system, who top up with €20 or more by January 31, can enjoy 3,000 free minutes and 1,000 free text messages to all Go mobile numbers, among other offers.

Customers can also benefit from a free laptop when they subscribe to the Laptop Connect, which includes Go's internet key and the internet-on-the-move service.
