Ten localities in the central parts of the island suffered a power cut that lasted about an hour yesterday morning.

Enemalta said the fault developed at 10.40 a.m., leading to the suspension of the power supply due to the load dropping in various localities. Power was restored by 11.50 a.m.

The affected towns and villages were Attard, San Ġwann, Mrieħel, Sta Venera, Qormi, Birkirkara, St Julians, Swieqi, parts of Msida and Gżira.
