The University of London is holding an information seminar about postgraduate programmes in Law at the Casino Maltese, Republic Street, Valletta, on Wednesday at 1 p.m.

The event will be addressed by James Busuttil, programme director from the University of London, who will present the opportunities offered by the university, including details about the 32 specialisations offered by this programme, which may be studied in Malta.

The University of London is proud of its legal education and is one of the largest academic institutions in the world.

The Postgraduate Laws programme is offered through the international programme, in partnership with the colleges of the university, namely the Departments of Law of Queen Mary and University College London.

Academics from these departments plan the structure and content of the Postgraduate Laws programme, develop and write study materials, set the examination papers and mark scripts.

The Master of Law (LLM) by the University of London has been given a rating of Level 7 by the Malta Qualifications Council (MQC).

The postgraduate qualifications are supported by the Get Qualified Scheme, which may offer up to 80 per cent tax credit on all fees paid upon successful completion as well as Steps, which may provide a scholarship to read for an LLM.

The event is free of charge, but places must be reserved. E-mail infodesk@stmartins.edu or call 2123 5451 if you wish to attend.
